v13 — 2026-05-12

Comprehensive coverage pass: 79 new articles, total 696 MDX articles.

Closed 11 thematic gaps identified in an editorial audit: bait techniques, Thai cultural deep dives, conservation topics, marine technology, niche and under-covered species, traditional boat types, and charter expansion into under-served regions. Opened three new Thai-language-mirrored sub-directories: locations, charters, and blog. This brings the total indexed article count to 696 MDX files across all sections.

v12 — 2026-05-12

Massive AI-SEO and structured-data pass.

Added Wikidata and Wikipedia sameAs references on 29 cornerstone entities. Implemented Recipe schema where applicable. Added per-article plain-text markdown export at /articles/[section]/[slug].md for AI crawler consumption. Unified the @graph JSON-LD block across all page types so entity relationships are explicit. Added AEO quick-answer callouts on 20 cornerstone articles to serve featured-snippet and AI-answer surfaces. Cited Thai government authority sources on 14 regulations articles.

v11 — 2026-05-09

Code quality and bug-hunt pass.

Fixed a text-prop bug in the <PullQuote> component that caused hydration mismatches in some browsers. Fixed ImageObject dimension fields that were outputting undefined in structured data. Cleaned up undefined-field pollution across Article schema. Audited and resolved 140 broken internal links across 54 files — links were either remapped to the correct current URL or removed where the target no longer exists. Added focus-return behavior to the site search modal and the Gallery lightbox so keyboard users return to the trigger element on close.

v10 — 2026-05-09

Major AI SEO pass: entity graph and trust signals.

Added Organization schema with sameAs, publishingPrinciples, and ethicsPolicy properties. Implemented @id graph linking so all page-level entities point back to the root Organization node. Enriched llms.txt with trust pages and featured cornerstone articles. Added 2026-era AI crawler user-agent strings to robots.txt allow rules. Applied ImageObject with dimensions and mentions arrays on all Article schema instances.

v9 — 2026-05-06

Content expansion and DRY refactor: 45 new articles.

Published 30 monthly fishing-report articles and 15 niche species and technique articles. Introduced a parseMdxFile helper to consolidate frontmatter parsing across build scripts. Created shared slug-maps and search index modules to reduce duplication. Implemented a getAllContent build-time cache to reduce cold-build times.

v8 — 2026-05-06

First AI SEO pass: rich schema and trust-page infrastructure.

Added SearchAction to WebSite schema. Applied NewsArticle type to monthly reports, TouristTrip to itineraries, Service to charter pages, and Person schema to named author pages. Implemented Speakable schema on lead paragraphs. Launched /authors hub, /editorial-policy, /methodology, /corrections, /glossary. Added hreflang on all sections. Extended Thai-language OG image coverage. Wired per-article lastmod from frontmatter into the sitemap.

v7 — 2026-05-06

Depth and UX pass: search modal, navigation, interactive tools, 29 new articles.

Launched site search modal with ⌘K / Ctrl+K keyboard shortcut. Added previous/next navigation on individual articles. Added share buttons (copy link, native share API). Added sort-order and A-Z toggle controls on hub pages. Built two new interactive tools: Knot Library (illustrated knot guide with step-by-step instructions) and Weight Calculator (live weight-to-length estimates for common Thai species). Introduced <Video> and <Gallery> MDX components. Published 29 articles across blog, practical guides, seasonal, locations, compare, charter, and Thai mirror categories.

v6 — 2026-05-06

Comprehensive depth pass: 70 new articles.

Major article push across 10 gear deep dives, 5 regulations explainers, 5 cost guides, 10 tour write-ups, 5 itineraries, 5 comparison pieces, 5 June 2026 monthly reports, and 25 Thai-language mirrors split across species, national parks, and guides.

v5 — 2026-04-28

Deeper gap pass: 47 articles.

Targeted content gaps in locations, wild-water fishing, saltwater, practical guides, compare pieces, cost guides, itineraries, charter profiles, and blog. Total article count passed 300.

v4 — 2026-04-27

Gap-closing pass: 45 articles plus FAQ backfill.

Published 10 species articles, 5 wild waters, 5 locations, 5 saltwater, 10 practical guides, 5 monthly reports, and 5 compare pieces. Backfilled FAQ sections on 15 v1 species articles and all filter/hub pages.

v3 — 2026-04-27

80 new articles across 11 expanded categories.

Second major content push. Expanded into categories not covered at launch: regulations, pay-lake culture, gear guides, and region-by-region location pages.

v2 — 2026-04-27

Gap-closing build: approximately 210 new pages across 19 phases.

Immediately post-launch audit identified thin coverage in several key areas. This build addressed them systematically across all site sections.

v1 — 2026-04-26

Launch: 95+ articles.

Initial public launch covering core species profiles, national parks, locations, saltwater fishing, practical how-to guides, seasonal calendar, and blog. Site search, schema, and sitemap in place from day one.
