The Catch Log is a public, chronological archive of accepted catch reports from ThaiAngler readers and contributors. Its purpose is to build a transparent, dated record of fishing activity across Thai venues and waters — a resource that improves over time as more anglers contribute.
How It Works
Reader catch reports are submitted via email using the process described on the Submit a Catch Report page. Reports that include sufficient detail — species, venue, date, technique, approximate weight — are reviewed and added to this log. Each entry is attributed to the submitting angler if they consent to attribution; anonymous contributions are logged without a name.
The log runs in reverse chronological order: newest entries appear first.

Format examples — editorial seed entries
The five entries below were created by the ThaiAngler editorial team at site launch to establish the log format and demonstrate what a useful catch report looks like. They are clearly marked as editorial seed entries. They are not third-party submissions and should not be treated as independent field reports. First real reader submissions will be added here as they arrive and will appear above these seed entries.

How to Contribute
To submit your own catch report for inclusion in this log, see the Submit a Catch Report page. The more detail you include — date, venue, technique, conditions, approximate weight — the more useful your report is to other anglers planning similar sessions. Attribution is optional: you can request your name appear on the entry, use a handle, or submit anonymously.
We do not require trophy catches. An ordinary session on a familiar venue with honest detail is as useful to the record as a personal best. Patterns of activity across many ordinary reports are often more informative than isolated exceptional ones.
